Easy Approval Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCards

The Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCard is a really good basic credit card for the average person. In particular it’s a good credit card for those with bad credit or poor, low income persons and individuals going through financial difficulty.
A big plus to this credit card is that it reports to the big three credit bureaus. That means if you pay your credit card bills on time every month and don’t go over your limit your credit score could go up.
The biggest advantage to the Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCards is that it has very good interest rates and very reasonable fees. Unlike a lot of the Credit cards aimed at lower income people this card actually comes with a decent APR and fees the average person can pay. Unlike a lot of the credit card deals for persons with poor credit, Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCard won’t hit you with processing and other fees.
Interest Rates
The Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCard comes with a really good APR interest rate. The variable APR on purchases ranges from 14.9% to 28.9% which means that it can be either good or bad. This rate is based on a wide variety of factors including income and credit history. Those with a higher income or a better credit history will probably pay a better interest rate.
The balance transfer rate is basically the same as the APR ranging from 14.9% to 28.9%. This means that the balance transfer rate will be the same as your purchase rate. The cash advance rate will usually be 20.9% which is actually pretty good. The balance transfer and cash advance fee will be $5 or 5% whichever is higher.
There is also a penalty APR interest rate of 29.49% and a standard foreign transaction rate of 3% for purchases made in foreign currencies.
Fees
Like the interest rates the annual fees will vary for card purchasers. The standard annual fee for a card will be between $35 to $74 in the first year and $39 to $79 in later years. As with the interest rates the fees will be based upon a person’s credit record, income and other factors.
Orchard Bank® does charge processing fees for some applicants. The processing fee is based on creditworthiness and can be up to $39. Most applicants shouldn’t have to pay a processing fee.
Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCard Advantages
The Orchard Bank® Classic MasterCard would be a good basic credit card for the average person especially a person who has a spotty credit history. People who have had a hard time getting credit cards because of job loss or other problems could be well served by getting this card.
It’d be a great credit card to use as an emergency backup credit card and to rebuild your credit history because it does report to the major credit bureaus. It would also be a good credit card for a person who is just starting out or getting their first credit card.
Those looking for a lot of perks or fancy rewards programs should probably look elsewhere.

Restore Your Credit with Orchard Bank® Visa® Cards

This is a credit card for those who are looking for a basic credit card to make everyday purchases with. It’s also a really good card for ordinary people because it is so basic and easy to use.
The best thing about the Orchard Bank® Visa® Card is that it is accepted almost everywhere. Another good thing about this card is that it is basically just a credit card there will be no rebate programs to figure out. Instead it provides basic credit card services for the average consumer.
Orchard Bank® Visa® Cards are available in Platinum, Gold, standard and Secured varieties. The Gold and Platinum Cards appear to be a slightly better deal for the average person because they can sometimes come with a lower APR.
Poor Balance Transfer Deal
One drawback to this card is that it doesn’t really save you anything to transfer a balance to this card. The balance transfer rate is 7.5% to 28.9% which is the same as the rate for the regular APR.
The Orchard Bank® Visa® Card also charges a balance transfer fee of 5% or $5 whichever is cheaper on top of the interest. A person who transfers a balance to this card probably won’t save any money. That means you should look elsewhere if you want to transfer a balance.
Annual Fee
There is no set annual fee for the Orchard Bank® Visa® Card which can be either good or bad. Instead Orchard Charges a variable rate of between $35 and $79 a year depending on the card you get. The annual fee will be waived with the secured cards.
APR
Interestingly enough the introductory APR for Orchard Bank® Visa® Card isn’t listed on the card’s website. Instead the purchase APR is listed for the various cards.
The APR for the standard card is pretty high at 28.9% but the Gold and Platinum Cards can be a good deal. They feature an APR of 14.90-28.90%. The reason for this variance is not made clear, but the lower APR is a pretty good deal.
The secured Orchard Bank® Visa® Card comes with an APR of 7.9% but a person will have to put up a $200 minimum security deposit to get it. Secured cards are credit cards that require a person to get a security deposit in order to get a card.
Cash Advances
One reason why some people like Orchard Bank® Visa® Cards is that they are pretty generous with the cash advances. Interestingly enough the cash advance APR is often lower than the purchase APR. The standard cash APR right now is 20.9% which is a pretty good deal for a cash advance. Orchard Bank® will charge a $5 fee every time somebody gets a cash advance.
There will also be a 3% foreign transaction fee charged if you use your Orchard Bank® Visa® Card outside the US. Orchard Bank® also charges a pretty hefty penalty fee for late payments namely 29.49%
The Orchard Bank® Visa® Card would be a good emergency or back up card for the average person. It wouldn’t be a good card for somebody to use everyday.

The American Octane Onyx Card is a truly unique shopping card that offers cardholders benefits and features that cannot be found anywhere else. Unlike most cards out there, users do not have to pay an annual fee and they do not have to deal with APR. Instead of accumulating interest with every purchase you make like other cards, you can use your card and worry less about going further into debt.
Another unique feature of this card is that you do not have to have excellent credit in order to apply or be approved. Individuals with even the poorest credit are guaranteed 100% approval. Despite the one-time application and activation fee, cardholders cannot deny that paying 0% APR for the life of the card is the ultimate feature that makes the one-time fee look meaningless in addition to the guaranteed approval.
The American Octane Onyx Card also offers cardholders the benefit of 100% liability protection against unauthorized purchases made on the card. While many credit cards are beginning to offer this great feature, not all credit cards do. When you are not reliable for the unauthorized purchases made on your credit card, you can sleep better at night and love your credit card more.
Cardholders are also covered with fraud protection and have easy online access to their credit accounts whenever they want. You can keep track of your card and ensure that there are no unauthorized purchases being made on your card quick and easy.
Anyone can apply for this card and are guaranteed to be approved regardless of credit score or credit history. Once the card is active, there is a low monthly fee that must be paid to keep the card open and active. The credit limit of this card can range from a low amount to a higher amount depending on the information provided in the application.
The card also contains no hidden fees and a grace period for payments. Cardholders will only be charged a small late fee after the grace period has passed. This grace period gives users the opportunity to accumulate funds to make a payment or pay if they missed the day the payment was due. These are two other unique features that come with this card. If your search in the credit card market, these features will be nearly non-existent.

Secured Credit Cards: How Can They Work For You?

Tips & Advice on Secured Credit Cards
If you’ve been turned down for a credit card, a secured credit card may be the right product for you.
In today’s world, having a credit card is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity. You need a credit card in order to rent a car, book a hotel room, online purchases, bill paying, and so much more. People without credit cards are locked out of the e-commerce revolution, since a credit card is needed to buy online. Most people can qualify for a traditional credit card, even if it is with a low credit limit and high interest rate. But what about the people who’ve made serious financial mistakes in the past? Are they doomed? There are still options!
The Advantages of a Secured Credit Card
While it’s true that a debit card attached to your bank account can substitute for a credit card in most cases, the sad truth is that using a debit card doesn’t utilize credit - and therefore, it can’t help to improve your credit score. Since a debit card withdraws money from your checking or savings at the moment of purchase, there is no risk of you not paying, and because you’re using your own money, you aren’t showing future creditors that you can be trusted. In order to do that, you have to use other people’s money.
A secured credit card falls somewhere in between. In order to set up an account, you have to place funds in a certificate of deposit (CD). Your credit card is then secured by this CD, meaning that if you seriously default on your credit card bills, the secured credit card company can recoup its money by taking the CD.
The good news is that your CD earns interest. If you established a $2,500 secured credit card account, and you always paid your bills in full and on time, you would actually make money with your credit card, excluding any annual fees. The bad news is that some secured credit card companies report to the credit bureaus that your card is secured. By doing so, it makes the account seem less valid than an unsecured account, since there is ultimately very little risk to the card issuer. Because of this, look for a secured credit card company that offers both secured and unsecured cards, and make sure that they will not report your account as being secured.
Make Sure That You are Secure Too
Since credit constrained consumers are the target market for secured credit cards, there are plenty of unethical companies that seek to take advantage of their desperation. Unless your secured credit card is through a reputable, national institution that you’ve heard of and know well, you should probably contact the Better Business Bureau to verify that the company doesn’t have excessive complaints against it. Even the best companies, particularly larger ones, are sure to get a few complaints now and then, but if your company seems to have a slew of dissatisfied customers, look elsewhere. Thanks to the internet and web sites like this one, you have no shortage of options.
One of our favorite choices for a secured credit card is Public Savings Bank.
